WebOps support and documentation

The articles below describe the most important workflows on WebOps. If you have any questions, please contact us at support@onpointsuite.ca

Getting set up

Before you get started you'll need to set up your local environment

Preview a deployment

With WebOps it's easy to spin up a full preview site for each branch you push. This makes it easier for you to test your work and deliver new code with confidence.

Deploy to an environment

Deployments are a breeze with WebOps. Just click the big 'deploy' button next to the branch of your choice.

Rollback a deployment

Rollbacks are like a deployment 'undo'. A rollback can be a quick and easy way to fix any problems with your most recent deployment.

Sync environments

The Synchronizations page is used to migrate the database and files from one environment to another. This is useful in when you have content or assets on UAT and wish to move them all to Production, or when you wish to refresh UAT with the current Production database or files.

Back up an environment

The Backups page is used to manage your site’s backups. A site backups can contain just the database or the database and the files. WebOps will automatically take and store backups on your behalf, but you are also able to schedule backups manually.

Monitor and review site performance

A site's status provides overview of the current health of your website and it’s resource usage, as it relates to your WebOps Package subscription. There are many places throughout the WebOps application where you can see the status of a site.
